Principal's Message

Greetings Champion Elementary School Family,

My name is Mrs. Angela Polite, and I am so excited to join the Champion Elementary Family as your new Principal. I am very passionate about learning and I look forward to partnering with you to provide our students with an inclusive, engaging, and memorable school experience. As a parent, I recognize and understand the importance of a strong homeschool connection. Parents are every child's first teacher and as your lead educational partner, I am committed to ensuring that your child's academic, social, and emotional needs are met at Champion. Together, we will cultivate and nurture Champion Scholars to be of strong mind and model character.

I strongly believe that a great school begins with great teachers providing high quality instruction to meet and/or exceed the academic demand of our state standards. With this in mind, my primary objective is to ensure that every student receives this level of instruction in every classroom, every day. It is through this consistent practice of excellence, that our Champion Scholars will gain the tools needed for success. 

As a school community, our focus for the this school year will be simple, CHOOSE CHAMPION!

As a STUDENT, choose to engage in learning the Champion Way, being a respectful, responsible, active participant in your learning at all times.

As a PARENT, choose to partner with our school community to model and communicate expectations that are consistent with the Champion model of success.

As a TEACHER, choose to build positive relationships that inspire and support all Champion Scholars to reach their potential and achieve their very best.

As a COMMUNITY, choose to provide rich, authentic learning experiences to enhance our academic structures and access to life-changing opportunities within our city and beyond.

As we begin this teaching and learning journey together, know that your feedback and perspective is invaluable.
